OAKLAND, NJ— Topcon Healthcare, Inc., a leading provider of medical devices and digital healthcare solutions, announced the appointment of Rupe Hansra, OD, as the Vice President of Professional Affairs. Dr. Hansra will be instrumental in advancing the role of Healthcare from the Eye^™, a connected care ecosystem using AI-powered disease detection and management applied to noninvasive retinal imaging, by fostering relationships with the eye care community to continue the adoption of Topcon Healthcare’s robotic diagnostics and cloud-based solutions.

Dr. Hansra brings over 20 years of industry experience and a wealth of corporate expertise at the enterprise level. Recently, he was appointed to the Board of Trustees at the Illinois College of Optometry.  Regarding his new position, Dr. Hansra commented, “I am thrilled to join this dynamic team and collaborate with partners like Microsoft to improve healthcare access, cost, and quality.
